Findings:


 Cystic lesion in typical location of pes Anserine bursa.


The Pes Anserine bursa is located between sartorius, gracilis and semitendinous tendon insertion site.

Pes anserine bursitis


Discussion:


 Pes Anserine bursitis is characterized by fluid anterior to the conjointed tendons of the sartorius, semitendinosus and gracilis tendon that demonstrates low signal intensity on T1 and hyper intensity on PD and T2 image.


There may be a septation or hemorrhage within the bursa.


Pes bursitis may be associated with athletic activity or degenerative arthritis
