Ankle Inversion Injury Mechanism
- Ankle inversion is the most common mechanism implicated in midtarsal sprains
- Causing rupture or avulsion of the anterior talofibular and calcaneofibular ligaments
- Causing tear or avulsion of the dorsal calcaneocuboid ligament and bifurcate ligament
