Discussion

Discussion:

•       Cyclops lesion or fibrocartilaginous nodule may limit knee extension
after ACL reconstruction, other graft injury associated with roof impingement
include fractured bundles of the graft, guillotined fibers at the entrance into
the notch, parallel fragmentation of graft fibers, extrusion or molding of the
graft by the distal end of the notch, dislodged bone plugs

•       Cycolps lesion protrudes between the tibia and the femur at the
anterior margin of the intercondylar notch, just above where the graft enters
the tibial tunnel. 

•       Cyclops lesions are graded 1.2. or 3 depending on their anterior
extent along the femoral condyle

•       Fibrocartilageinous tissue shows low to intermediate signal
intensity on T1, T2 and FSE images and is best visualized in the sagittal
plane, between Hoffa’s fat pad and the leading edge of
the distal ACL graft.
