Findings: Hypoechoic mass is noted in the third intermetatarsal space on US(transverse scan) and color Doppler US(sagittal scan)

Differential Diagnosis: Intermetatarsal bursitis, synovial cyst, ganglion, giant cell tumor of tendon sheath

Discussion: Morton’s neuroma was first described by Thomas Morton in 1876. This mass may result from an injury to digital nerves near the transverse interdigital ligament.
