Rhadomyolysis (type 2)’ or ‘muscle necrosis’ of the anterior compartment of the lower leg

Findings
Lower leg anterior compartment muscles: heterogeneously hyperintense on T1-weighted image (the presence of methemoglobin after intramuscular hemorrhage, fat or proteinaceous content) and heterogeneously hyperintense on T2-weighted image with muscle swelling.
