Diagnosis:

Carpal tunnel syndrome with transthyretin amyloidosis



Discussion


Transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR) predominantly causes polyneuropathy and cardiomyopathy
Carpal tunnel syndrome is common in patients with amyloidosis, particularly prevalent among those with ATTR

Findings
1. Segmental swelling and signal increase of median nerve around carpal tunnel
2. No significant thickening of flexor retinaculum
