Diagnosis:

ossifying fibroma (osteofibrous dysplasia)



Discussion


Findings:
1) Radiologic Findings: - Type IA osteolytic lesion in left midtibia - The lesion is located eccentrically - Ground glass matrix ossification is seen - Pathologic fracture is seen

Differential Diagnosis:
Ossifying fibroma, Fibrous dysplasia, Adamantinoma

Diagnosis: Ossifying fibroma (osteofibrous dysplasia)

Discussion:
 This patient age could rule out the possibility of adamantinoma. Fibrous dysplasia is centrally located while the adamantinoma is eccentrically located. Fibrous dysplasia rarely involve the tibia.
